What this is

Heard On Tape Uploader ("the application") is a private software tool used by a single person — the owner of the Heard On Tape YouTube channel — to upload his own videos to his own channel. It is not offered as a service, product or platform to anyone else. These terms describe the conditions under which it is used.

Who may use it

• The application is used by one person only: its owner. There is no sign-up, no account creation, no access for third parties, and nothing to purchase.
• Because there are no other users, the obligations in these terms run to the owner alone.

Use of YouTube

• The application interacts with the owner's own YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API v3, under the owner's own Google account and his own authorisation, subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
• Uploads are always submitted as private videos. The owner reviews and publishes them himself. The application does not publish content publicly on its own.
• The application uploads only material the owner has the right to publish.
• The owner may revoke the application's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

No warranty

The application is a personal tool, provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The owner uses it at his own discretion and accepts that an upload may fail, be delayed, or be rejected by YouTube.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the application. Since the application's only user is also its owner, this provision exists to be explicit rather than to allocate risk between parties.

Privacy

What the application does with Google user data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the tool changes. The effective date above will be revised when they are.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
